Zuni is one of the most productive of the Pueblo tribes. For hundreds of years, the Ashiwi (Zuni) have been skilled lapidarists, cutting stones and shells on natural grits and inlaying on shells. Rolling beads is another of their historical products, a trait shared with the Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo.
