Curley Clan Master Weaver

My absolute favorite design element in  all of Navajo weaving is that of the Curley clan; descendents of Matriarch Rose Curley.

After handling a half of a century of high grade Navajo weavings, my favorite design element is the Curley switchback comb. It fascinates me. It’s personal. It is prominent in these photos and I think you can pick it out on your own.

Cora Curley is my favorite Curley. It is amazing how Edith Yazzie has so faithfully continued that tradition in this excellent tapestry. Price is firm.
