Dennis JUNE Gallery, Scottsdale
SUMMER BLOWOUT. . . The Storyteller was born as a collectible in the Sixties in the Pueblo of Cochiti. Dorothy Trujillo was a Matriarch who took to this form with skill and gusto. Collectors flocked to her door. And galleries arranged Specialty shows on her behalf. Her notoriety spawned a family tree of potters.
This small polychrome STORYTELLER is among the best of Dorothy. The grandkids are delightful. One with an alphabet block, on other with a ball. Sweet!
Signed. Very good condition. About three inch size.
