Pilot Mountain natural Cabochon ORANGE Matrix!

Pilot Mountain is among Nevada’s more famous turquoise mines. Located near Tonopah, one of many in that district.
One distinctive feature of natural Pilot is its ORANGE host matrix, as in this specimen. Lodged in a sea of top rate green hues, this feature was prominent in the Seventies and scant since that time. Beautiful color harmony!
