Craig Agoodie has been anointed as the “King of Bezels” because he sets the standard for stone settings. He says his complex bezels are just “his style.” But few reach this level, and none are as consistent as Agoodie.
A quiet and humble man, Craig is boiling with ambition. He has mastered INGOT as have few, wherein he “melts” Sterling into a slag and, once cooled, slaps it onto his anvil and hammers it into shape. By doing so, he gets a silver plate or strip thicker and heftier than store bought sheet. THIS IS CRAIG’S MAGIC, hand-hammered INGOT, used in his famous bezels and shanks,
His INGOT forms a thick bar you see here as the dimpled shank. But the real magic surrounds the natural gemstone, the bezel. This strip of carefully engineered ingot silver is scored with a chisel and hefty hammer. Craig then files each score, creating square channel embattlements and perfectly square “merlons.” These square INGOT “merlons” are them tapped into place, securing the turquoise and creating a unique silver “sparkle” around Craig’s high grade turquoise – Agoodie MAGIC!
This hefty bracelet is Craig’s newest, a medium fit, 5 1/2” shank, about 3/4” wide and near twelve gauge thick. SOLID, malleable and special website pricing
The turquoise is natural Kingman Birdseye waterweb, sky blue and well polished.
