Hopi pottery is easily recognized by its creamy color ground which takes on aglow along with some orange hues. Designs are applied with chewed brush, minerals in black and sienna red.
The design on this jar by Roselda Kagenveama, is extra fine and precise. Drawn freehand are clouds corn fields, tadpoles and birds.
