The late, great Gibson Nez (d.2007) may be the preeminent Native American jeweler of his day. His legacy includes hundreds and hundreds of ribbons for his work. And, notably, he is a Cowboy Hall of Famer, a Champion bronc rider. A dynamo. An innovator and a gift to American Indian jewelry collectors everywhere.
Bold precision was Gibson’s calling card. A master chisler, stamper and repousse artist. Much the great turquoise of the day drifted up to Nez. He was generous, mounting each with heft, in both silver and gold.
It is our honor to offer the works of Gibson Nez.
