Acoma are known for two refinements achieved by few other Pueblo villagers:
1.) Thin wall construction
2.) Fine-line designs.
BRIAN CHINO (d) was a master of both, excellent pottery skills. A potter from his earliest year, no one could match his fine line hatching. Hundreds and hundreds of intersecting fine black lines on his stark white ground. Brian was unmatched. In a word, the BEST!
Light in weight. Superfine cross hatching, without mistakes or errors. Signature hidden among fine lines. Measures about 4″ x 4″. One of Brian’s best!
MY COLLECTION . . . added in the Eighties, artist deceased at a young age.
Now available Excellent condition.
