Blue Diamond Spiderweb!

Among the most famous turquoise mines of all time, natural BLUE DIAMOND, active in the Seventies and early Eighties. This mine, located in the Tonopah NV turquoise zone, filled a void created by a teen-scarcity of high grade turquoise. Many large, thick, pure turquoise specimen were extracted. Buyers found this high grade turquoise in high demand, with value to match. The natural turquoise seam was robust, a true “Eureka!” discovery.
The best of BLUE DIAMOND carried rich blue hues, which was unique in a Nevada Mine. All of the harvest was thick, so much was unbacked. Sadly, as with all mines, the vein disappeared but left enough high grade rough to feed natural turquoise markets for several years. Alas, all of that beautiful natural turquoise saved has seemingly moved through markets.

However, fabulous specimen of natural BLUE DIAMOND occasionally enter the secondary marketplace, just like this ring. This specimen is also scarce SPIDERWEB, a well defined network of matrix.
