Born in the Heyday of Indian jewelry, this robust bracelet carries one on those famous “lunch bucket” turquoise. Morenci miners were once allowed to take blasted turquoise home, as long as it fit in a lunch bucket.
This natural turquoise is thick and hefty, over a quarter inch thick and with blasting fissures, intact and signatory.
The silver work matches the stone mass with giant silver raindrops, bars and profound leaves. One-of-a-kind original, unsigned, consistent with age. Heavy inside patina, otherwise mint condition. 5 3/8” shank, medium wrist. About two inches at widest. 3.45oz Sterling silver.
